Sydney Fish Market. Men at work, repair and maintaining the cables onboard their boat. Fish boat are berthed here, and it's also here that we can find the very best seafood - no kidding. Try the foodstalls and you will not be disappointed.

When I say it, I mean it, so here a very nice shot of the food available here. The oysters were yummy - fresh and light. Squeeze a little lemon juice on it or eat it with baked melted cheese enveloping the tender oyster meat... You just got to try it.

While I am not into wine and liquor, people here do enjoy a glass of wine with their meal. The well stocked wine and liquor shop sells the usual stuff - beer, wine of all kinds and liquors. Did I also mention free wine tasting? :)

Caught a glimpse of the fresh fruit juice stall and the colour of green and orange just jumps out at me! The very different form of the long thin wheatgrass and round shiny oranges just make it so contrasting and interesting.

At the Darling Harbour, walk under the monorail. This raised walkway, called the Pyrmont Bridge, cuts across the Cockle Bay and was extremely windy when we were there. The weather was excellent - blue sky and white clouds.

A wide angle view of the Darling Harbour Marine. Just a lone craft at the end of the marina walkway. In the background is the Harbour side shopping centre and the exhibition centre.

On this fine day, nothing beats finding a nice cafe, sitting near the waterside and sipping a cuppa cupaccino. Sheer relaxation! Near the cockle bay wharf, where cafes and bistros line the water sidewalk.

Queen Victoria Building, a historic building, is now a beautiful and elaborately furnished shopping centre. It was designed by George McRae and completed in 1898, replacing the original Sydney markets on the site. Here, you can find various shops selling up market merchandise, cafes and even performances.

A public performance. The setting was informal, relaxing and bright. The performers interacted with the audiences, making the entire performance lively and never a second dull. Note the elaborate carpeting and columns and decorations used in the interior of the QVB.

Night scene of part the darling harbour. Taken on a rather chilly evening (the temperature could be about 10 degree cel or less), it shows a viewpoint of the cityscape of Sydney. I loved the reflections of the building light off the still water surface.

We made our way across the harbour bridge via railway to Milson's Point region and walked around the area. This was taken from the area where we could see the Opera House just across the channel. A very awesome structure when you view the bridge from below. The structure is simply breath-taking, making me feel so very small. :)

Needless for me to introduce. Yes - this is the Sydney Opera House at night. On the night I was there, I was greeted with standard light - yellow and white spot lights. I am not sure, but I guess on certain night, the colours could be different (or I thought since I saw some postcards with different coloured lights from the Opera House)

This the concourse view when you make your way towards the Opera House - a slow stroll from the jetty. There seems to be two levels here. I am walking on the top level of the walkway. If I am not wrong the level below houses some cafe/bar or restaurant.. Opera Bar?

The Harbour Bridge from the Opera House. I just found out that the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the world's largest (but not longest) steel arch bridge! This renowned bridge is well lit at night with different kinds of lights, which give the orange glow at the sides and a slightly greenish glow on the bridge itself.

Along the Manly Beach. Manly, one of the nearest getaway from Sydney, is a 30 minutes ride by the famous Manly Ferry from Sdyney. Manly is described as "Seven Mile from Sydney, a thousand miles away from cares...."

Along the Manly Beach, we found an interesting sculpture between a pool and the sea. As I found out, it is called the Oceanides (1997) by Helen Leete, Marine Parade. These two sculptures represent bathers which are enjoying the sun and the sea at Manly Beach.

At the end of Manly Beach is a beautiful place (near Shelly Beach) where we climbed up a rocky hill to reach the high point. It's the top right point in the picture - a very windy but exhilerating viewpoint of the cliffs and the area.

We made another visit to the Opera House, and this time I thought perhaps I could shoot the opera house's features from the side which is normally not so obvious from across the water. I liked this - simply geometry lines and perspective of distance and form.

A view of the circular quay from the railway/subway station, with the harbour bridge in the distance. This is a shot which I like for its balance and also for the contents it covered - the ferry we took and the bridge we walked. Tomorrow, we leave Sydney.
