And also shared a nice cup of Tea-C in Changi airport before boarding the plane to Maldives. We took MAS flight, so we had to transit at KLIA.

After a long flight and speed boat ride in the dark, we finally arrived at our Beach Villa (BV). It was already about 12am in the morning (3am in Singapore)

Open-air shower! There is also a covered area for shower in case it rains outside. On the right is the "bath-tub" - when you turn on the tap, the water flows from the slit on the right.

We were asked to drink water from the supplied bottle cos the water from the tap may not be safe enough. We had 2 bottles, then 4 bottles after we kept asking for 2 more in the days ahead. Haha.

External view of our beach villa. There is a hammock and a "chill-out" area. If you look at the glass, it's facing the sea :)

Took a walk in the morning along the beach. Saw the water villas in the distance. This is what we will be staying at in a few days' time. (3 days beach villa, 2 days water villa)

Hermit crab - his name is Harry! He is saying - pls let me drop. I hate this sense of being suspended in the air! ;p

Another poor hermit which I "caught" and put into a colourful blue mosaic bowl. When I came back from the inside of the villa 10 minutes later, it was gone - presumably somewhere out there on the beach already.

We took a leisure stroll along the water edge and came to the swimming pool area. This is the old jetty that remains from the tsunami - it was left unscathed.

Number 1 beach villa (BV). This is the closest to the swimming pool and breakfast area. It is a very nice day - blue sky and white beach.

Bed sofa/bed just a stone's throw from the breakfast area. Many of the guests would bring their barang to brekfast and proceed straight to these after makaning.

Pei said this shot, which she took of me, is very artistic. So I kept this in the album :p

Pei in the water having fun posing! Nice to see to the blue sea and sky. Hmm.. I wonder why this shot don't have blue sky - maybe clouds moved in?

Moments later, I took a picture of the swimming pool. It's little like infinity pool. There is a water sports centre just beside the swimming pool.

What is she going to put into the bottle? Message on a piece of paper?

Haha. I like this. It's like someone just got hammered flat, leaving only a hat, some body (bag), and the slippers...

There is also a peacock on the island. Nice life... every day at the resort walking around - no need to pay money haha..

This is the part where there is no reef breaking the ocean, so the waves are very strong, breaking onto the shore. Dramatic effect, though.

Is this an egret? I am not sure, but it was happily along the coast line when I was strolling along the beach front.

Blue sky and breaking waves. You may get a little sick of the blue sky, sea and beach, but it was too nice. Plus, that's about all you see on an island, right? ;p

Bathroom accessories and toiletries provided by the resort. They were minted. Pei seemed to like them, but I am not a mint person, so I did not use them.

In the afternoon, they were fumigating some of the places in the resort. While the fumes were clearly, the sunlight created special 'sunlight' effect.

Pei's castle! Actually, she did not build it (would you think she would mess her hands and nice clothes??). She "borrowed" the castle from a kid and posed for it. *lol*
